American's used to flock to Cuba for the gambling and a little 'cha-cha' b4 Fidel came to power. Beautiful resorts at the time.

Maybe with the current global economy it is hitting them that opening up to the US is more profitable than remaining on their own.

This would mean a lot to many Americans that left family there......

I believe it has to do more with the US not wanting to end sanctions against Castro more than Cuba not wanting ties with the US. I hope this goes somewhere.

Problem with that is it could cost the U.S. Money in the form of AID

Just lift the embargo and be done with it already. But that aint gonna happen before the election. President Obama would not want to **** off the Cubans that are here in Florida that would definetly cost him the state in this election.

Nah They wouldn't need any aid. They;ll make a fortune when millionaires start using their banking system to hide their money and dopers start laundering their ill - gotten gains in Cuba.

They do need new cars and collectors here would have a field day buying up those 1950's near perfect condition cars.
