Not just on the wealthy, but on 27% of all Americans.

This information came from one of Obama's trusted sources for tax information.

"President Barack Obama’s 2013 budget plan would raise taxes for 27 percent of U.S. households in 2013, far more than the administration estimates, according to a nonpartisan study,"

"The study released today comes from the Tax Policy Center, a research group in Washington that analyzes proposals from presidential candidates in both parties. Obama focuses the tax increases in his 2013 budget on corporations and the top 2 percent of individual taxpayers. The result in the center’s study stems from the fact that taxpayers in all income brackets own parts of corporations."

Hey..it was only supposed to be the 1%..he went over by 26%.

They'll rake in a few more percentage points with the expired AMT fix which will hit even more middle class people next year.
Notice no one is talking about that ? $33K for singles and $45K for married is the cutoff..anyone making more than that gets hit with AMT..you know that tax for the RICH.

Along with many other tax increases on the bottom 99%.... including taxes in ObamaCare, tobacco taxes, etc, etc.

I just found a link to the tax policy. Without the Congress fix, AMT will hit $33K/single, $45K/married.
Can you believe what the AMT has turned into ? $45K for a couple will now get hit with this AMT ?
$45K is now considered wealthy and due additional tax ?

Although it's not much better WITH the fix..$48K/single, $74K/married. How is $74K a year for a married couple possibly with kids considered wealthy enough to be hit with ADDITIONAL tax ?

Boy are we in trouble.

Since when did the President, any President, obtain the unilateral power to levy a tax?

Sorry to say Romney's plan wouldn't go into effect Jan 2013 so the deflection on "proposed" vs what IS going to happen doesn't hold water.
