In U.S., Bill Clinton at His Most Popular

Interesting to see that more men view him favorably than women (68-63%). Usually Democrats do better with women than men. Could it be that women are more critical of him due to his extramarital activities?

The worse Obama performs, the better we all remember Bill Clinton. It will be the same thing going thru people's heads, as they leave the Democratic National Convention, shaking their heads at the stark contrast between Obama's failures and the way things were so much better in the '90s under Clinton.

From the link: "In addition to sampling error, question wording and practical difficulties in conducting surveys can introduce error or bias into the findings of public opinion polls.

The surprise to me is the strong favorability rating from women. Given his infidelity and lack of respect for women. And for family values. Men would tend to like him because they would like to have gotten as much head as Clinton has over the years. So many bimbos, so little time. Ex-Presidents tend to do well after people have time to reflect on their contributions while serving. "W" Bush will probably be an exception to that. Not much to admire/respect about him or his term of office. Count me as a fan of Clinton, though. You gotta love a guy who's zipper opens on command!

I don't think Bill would be making an appearance at the convention if it wasn't for Hillary. Apparently Obama was the one who reached out to patch things up between him and Bill. Obama needs someone to lift him.

Many think Bill to be a narcissist. I think Obama has that trait as well. It's something that comes with people who are in power. The difference is, Bill actually knows what he is talking about. I don't know if his performance will be anywhere close to the one he gave during the Lewisky matter, but I wonder how hard he's going to work trying to convince everyone he's not lying when he gives Obama his "support".
