Sen. Lindsay Graham (R - SC) yesterday urged defense contractors to make any pending layoffs before November. Gee, I wonder why.

Which party is sending up primary challengers to ANYONE who compromises with Democrats?

Which party is electing new legislators who vow they will NOT compromise with the other side?

Which party is losing members b/c the party is capitulating to the extreme elements of the party?

If you believe that there is a legislative impasse, you can't rationally say it's not Republicans doing it.

obama is intentionally destroying the economy to achieve his goal of a socialist society. If you can't see through his ploy, you are brainwashed..!

President Romney will return America to it's former greatness.. in spite of you and your fellow socialists best effort..

And, which party is responsible for the fiscal impasse? The GOP, who are holding out for lower taxes on the wealthy.

Once again, the GOP is showing its true colors and damaging the nation in search of political advantage in November.
you are just a talking points boy for the obama machine.

Preventing Obama and Reid from enacting any more of their destructive legislation is seen by the business community as a sign of hope, and the end of January will be their salvation, when Obama and Reid crawl back under their rocks.

When someone's agenda and policies are wrong, you do not compromise with them, you stop them.

Have you not seen what Obama's destructive policies and legislation have done to our country over the past three years? We need to stop it, not compromise with it.

For the same reason Obama came out against the law that they had to be informed 2 months before hand even though he was for it before.

The fact that a Google search on "obama is a communist" returns over 1 million results reveals that your "thinking" (and I use the term loosely) on this issue is not exactly original either.

So where are you getting your information?

Ya'll can throw up all the deflections you like, (Reid, Pelosi, budgets), but the fact will remain that the issue is taxation and it is the GOP which is holding up dealing with the soon-to-expire Bush tax cuts. And, they're doing it for two reasons:

1. They want more tax cuts for the rich and,

2. They've signed onto the Grover Norquist pledge of no new taxes.

It is the GOP which is threatening to push us over the so-called fiscal cliff for partisan purposes. It is the GOP which quietly accepted a temporary government funding bill to prevent a government default just before the election, but they don't want you to notice that. They want you to see their "principled" stand on taxation, even though they have demonstrated that they will NOT allow the government to default. They WILL reach a compromise before the election, so why not just do it now?

You're being played, and while they're playing you, businesses are retracting because they don't know what's coming up. Any business can live with any level of taxation because they simply pass that on to their customers, so what's got them worried is that because of GOP partisan obstructionism, they don't know what that tax rate will be and can't plan THEIR budgets.

Once again, the GOP is in the position of actually hurting our economic recovery to make Obama look bad.

really? so for the first two years of the obama administration the democrats DIDNT ahve a super majority in congress? the reality is that the democrats could have passed ANYTHING they wanted to and the republicans couldnt do a damn thing about it.

more rubbish from the left. yes the republicans dont want to raise taxes in a soft economy, why? because they know it will hurt the economy as a whole. in fact obama said we shouldnt raise taxes in a soft economy in 2009! now he wants to raise taxes on the job creators? in a soft economy? and wasnt it the democrats that recently said they would block ANY AND ALL efforts by the republicans to extend the current tax rates for EVERYONE? in fact they even said they are willing to drive the economy over the fiscal cliff if the republicans dont raise taxes on the rich. the house has sent over dozens of pieces of legislation, budgets, jobs bills, etc. and harry ried is tabled nearly ALL of them.

so instead of regurgitating the democrat line, how about doing so real research of your own?
