Liberal logic: Pointing to real world examples. With objective facts.

Right wing West Virginia logic: repeating what Sarah Palin tells me.

Yeh because West Virginia is such a red state. All you have proven is that single payer system works for Canada.

You already have one. It makes sure the guy's not a quack.

The Canadians live longer than we do and pay less in health care. But facts never bother the Reps.

Whereas the Canadian approach is to throw less money at health care, thus achieving better results than the U.S. does.

They pay less because they actually take care of themselves and practice preventative medicine.

What do you want from me? You win. I've totally admitted that single payer health care works in Canada. I acknowledge it. I understand it. Single payer health care works in Canada. I'm on the record as saying that. I think it's great that it works for Canadians, it seems like a wonderful system for them and most are happy about it.

Three older friends of my husband's family go to doctors in the United States (and they pay out of their own pocket, even though their health care is "free"), because the care they receive in Canada is sub-standard. One has a heart condition, one has diabetes and the third one has several different medical problems.

You're husband is not typical. Canadians overwhelmingly support their system over the US model.

New poll shows Canadians overwhelmingly support public health care | Physicians for a National Health Program

So we have an actual professional poll of Canadian public opinion or you anecdotal story from one Canadian that moved to a Missouri backwater? Who to believe?

Doctors in Canada are independent, and run their own businesses, so how is that different from doctors in the US?
