Report cites killings blamed on non-deported illegals

The Obama administration released illegal immigrants who went on to commit more crimes

All told, 16 percent of the nearly 47,000 illegal immigrants the administration was notified of but declined to deport between 2008 and 2011 under its Secure Communities program have gone on to be charged with other crimes, the committee said.

“The Obama administration could have prevented these senseless crimes by enforcing our immigration laws,” said committee Chairman Lamar Smith, Texas Republican. “But President Obama continues to further his anti-enforcement agenda while innocent Americans suffer the consequences. His unwillingness to enforce immigration laws puts our communities at risk and costs American lives.”

I never understood how Obama thinks deciding not to enforce US immigration laws makes our country more safe.

Hmm. No denying that the administration let some people go that should have been sent back. This doesn't change my opinion that we need to make it easier to come here legally, but it sure looks bad.

Easier to come here? What does that mean? We have quotas for legal immigration for good reasons. Are you suggesting we raise them to the numbers that want to come here rather than the numbers we need? If that were so we would have to accomodate 2 billion of the world's impoverished that want to come here. Oh, joy.

I know people right now, who were staunch Democrats who are so sorry they voted for Obama in 08.

They tell me not again, after what they now know, and the way that this Country is headed, is not the Hope n' Change promised to all of us.

We are already in a sorry, negative, downhill, sliding down the tubes, in the toilet tanking economy, and Obama has no idea how to fix it.

Oh and it is everybody elses fault, not his in any way. He must take us all for fools.

The fools are those who after this experience, will vote the guy in again, for another round of 4 yrs of hell.
