why don't these women just go out and get the real thing anyway?
Because then you would just call us hos... face it, women can't win with men like yourself.
Or are you suggesting we run out and marry the first man who offers? Dear lord, I shudder to think of how life would be if I'd married my first intimate boyfriend - believe me, I am MUCH better off alone and independent!
P.S. As it's already been pointed out, one can partake in both "real" and "artificial" sex. Why is it always a this or that with some people?
listen, at the end of the day the kids do not need to know what is in the box.
Just distract them with another product and leave the store. It is not a matter or life and dead. There are million of things worst that they see in a mall for example (such as Victoria Secrets for example, that is more explicit) and some how the children of the world survive.
*sigh* No one's insinuating that any of this can kill a child. The bottom line is, both this and the more common practice of displaying photos of half-naked women in a store window are hardly necessary to get your product to the one group of consumers you're actually trying to target. They might as well start advertising alcoholic beverages on Nick Jr.; it's the same damn thing. Ultimately, while either of us can compromise and say, "All you have to do is... It's not that hard!", your motivation is an imaginary need to tell the world you're getting a free sex toy. Parenting is just a tad more important, I think.
Not saying it shouldn't have been allowed. Just saying the people who organized this event should've been more considerate of these things (and how it would make women look like silly, mindless little girls). And if you're going to deny how stupid these "women" look holding up the box for the camera, there is no helping you

Yikes!
Better than snuggling up to an overweight, snoring jerk who just fumbled about for 60 seconds trying to insert his penis and prematurely ejaculated on the sheets and doesn't care if his partner has an orgasm or not as long as he did?
This past week in New York City, of course, hundreds of women stood in line to get free vibrators. Am I wrong to see this as a bit off? What sort of woman does that exactly? Are people not discreet or more guarded of what they do in privacy anymore?
Just seems weird and shows more where society is today. Is there no public decency anymore?
Who said the OP was OK with rape, porn, and prostitution? I didn't.
I just wondered what he thought of men who do things like that publically.....
....but WHY? Why are you insinuating this has anything to do with sexism? Is this poster known for making sexist remarks? If so, fine, I'll leave it alone. I agree it'd be backwards for him to not hold men to the same standards of dignity and consideration. But it still doesn't have anything to do with the topic.
I for one would have just as much of a problem with it if it were a line of men waiting for free condoms or fleshlights (more comparable). There's just no call for drawing the general public's attention to that sort of product.
