The planet will eventually evolve without us, and I'm not sure if that is a bad thing at this point.

Canada doesn't have an anti-science political party who deliberately feeds its followers misinformation because they're corrupt and want to keep getting bribes (er... "campaign donations") from the polluters who are damaging our global environment. I think that's a good thing and wish it was true here in America too.

Why do you want to do this over some silly news article? Canada is a fine country. They do a few things differently than we do but if everyone did exactly the same as everyone it would be a pretty boring world.

Wasn't it just a couple years ago that China had its coldest winter in 100 years and we were told--"that's weather, not climate." Now we have an unusually hot summer and the tune seems to have changed.

I am not a physicist and have no opinion either way, but I do know one thing: polling the general public on a scientific question makes about as much sense as the Geico 'taste tests' where variously flavored drinks are used to decide which insurance policy is best.

Well we should realize that it is not Canada and the U.S. are increaing energy Consumption but Rather China is building more Coal, LNG and Nuclear power plants than we have in just the last 5 years than we have in 20 years and where do you think the massive train loads of Coal are going when we are shutting down out plants one by one but yet we are mining Coal at 4X the rate we used to but ship it over to China which 70% of all it power comes from Coal and they do not have the EPA to follow and the amount of pollution they put into the air and water makes us look like pretty darn eco-friendly but problem is the jet steam and ocean currents bring it all over to North America.

so pretty much we sell them the Coal the burn it with out any scrubbers or filters and the smog then comes back to North America and hovers over the West Coast I we cannot even build a pipeline between out two countries yet we have 40 year olfdpipelines running through the area they say is inn danger which is stupid since they would want the old pipelines replaced by modren ones to incease safty if Green peace really cared about the protecting the environment from possible oil spills would they not worry about 40 year old pipelines that have a good chance of the pipelines failing due to metal fatigue and stress from the immense amount of pressure they have been under for 4 decades.

Another one who doesn't like the line-ups of cross-border shoppers with the stonger Canadian Dollar which I might add is far nicer to look at than your dreadfully dull and listless greenback.
