I think it is by those who call themselves "conservatives" that likely don't even listen much to it, so it would make sense since such businesses usually market to specific audiences that give them money or support.

Liberals just say that reality has a well known liberal bias.

I watch Fox News all the time and they try VERY HARD to be biased for their conservative supporters and audience.

There is simply not a better domestic news source than NPR.

Since being identified as left-biased, and had its funding questioned, NPR has cleaned up its act considerably. It's now much more diverse and reflective of the country that pays its bills.

A public that pays less than 3% of its bills and doesn't like to hear much except things that reinforce their biases. It's sad really.

Conservatives see the news as propaganda. So for conservatives there is no such thing a neutral reporting of the news. In fact, many conservatives believe the whole media is against them.

So for conservatives all media is liberal.

I couldn't say because I don't listen to it to make that claim. Isn't all radio niche radio, including the ones that play music? That is, they exist to serve a specific group of people.

The issue has always been not to change or silence NPR or PBS from whatever their agenda is but to take taxpayer dollars out of the equation and let them sell advertising or have pay subscribers like every other radio station and TV station. Their same audience will still come if they offer the same programming.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that when one is watching or listening to a media outfit and they say nothing but positive things about one side and negative things about the other side what they are presenting is bogus.....

Good post.

Yes, Repug/Conservatives think the media is liberal.

If FACTS and different views are presented (as NPR has AWAYS done) naturally it will look Anti-Nut, Anti-Repug, Anti-Conservative since those entities really don't like those facty things....the FACTS always make righties look bad so they whine that the media is "liberal"...
