Only 10% approve of the job congress is doing. That ties the lowest ever. There is bipartisan disdain for congress. More than half from a recent poll show that this current congress could be the worst congress ever in the history of the U.S.

It is hard to nail down why americans hate the Paul Ryan HOuse and the Harry Reed Senate, but it may have something to do with the partisan nature. Instead of getting anything done it is just gamesmanship.

Yet none of us are willing to get rid of our own congressman. It's everyone else's congressman who needs to be fired. Such is America...

When you are saying "our" history you are saying "our" in the big picture of the entire history of the country right?

But as to your arguement. The approval rating absolutely sucked when it was a Reid Congress and Pelosi House also. But yeah, I suppose one could argue that was because of a complete lack of bi- partisanship there also.

Since when did the House become the Paul Ryan house?

Of course people naturally despise garbage like Reid, Pelousi, Wasserman, Frank, et al.

Damn, good point. Would that be an example of the very thing the OP is talking about?

You are incorrect. This congress has the lowest approval rating of any congress, which of course includes the pelosi and Reid Congress. As Roy would say, you did not read the cite.

I'm not going to try and argue over minor differences in suckiness.

We tried to fix it in 2010 by getting rid of Pulosi and will continue the improvement in 2012. With Obama in the WH, I just hope we can keep him neutralized without his failed policies and leadership making things worse.

It may be 3 months or 4 more years but until we get someone in the WH who no longer wants to destruct the US the best we can do is keep him powerless. It would be great to actually start on the road to improvement sooner than later.

I have not heard our great leader offer us any Ideas on improving the US during the election.

Did you catch Ryan's Florida speech this morning ? At least they've started a dialog, it's up to us the voters to move it forward.
