If it doesn't have the flag on the car, it's not the General Lee, and people won't buy it.
That means I have to go out and buy all the ones that are left, because their value will soon go up dramatically, if they actually decide to drop the flag.....

What does a private company's marketing decision have to do with any state, let alone your imaginary "authoritarian" one?
If they change their product because they feel it's a good business decision, good, bad, PC or not, that's the marketplace working, not the state.
Maybe they can compromise and put Bill Clinton shirtless in a pair of denim overalls holding shotgun instead of the confederate flag on the General Lee?
Just so you know........hippies endured the same. My ex brother in law hated hippies and he and his buddies would find joy in cutting their hair off. This made me wonder for awhile about anyone in cowboy boots, but I have come to find their not all like that some are just plain azzholes just like every other culture.
For me, it was about a different culture. I lived around the culture, but never fit in easily. It wasn't for me. I'm into soccer, baseball, hockey, coffee, and alot of things from the SWPL culture.
This is tragic, the fracking world = going to come to an end!
Forget about Afghanistan, Syria, the European financial crisis our economic crisis taking the rebel flag off of models... this requires the attention of the UN.
Censorship and social engineering are as valid a domestic concern as it gets. You may not be a fan of the Confederate flag, but I hardly see how helping Afghanistan, Syria, and the world's economy obviates the need for a free society in the U.S.
