During his 700 Club commentary Wednesday morning, televangelist Pat Robertson went after the Democratic Party for its removal of the word “God” from its party platform.
“Back in the 1850s or 60s there was a charge that one party was the party of rum, Romanism and rebellion,” he began. “I don’t know what you label the Democrats now but it’s the party of gays, godlessness and whatever else.”
“I mean, same-sex marriage is in the platform — they want to go along with that as a right,” he added. “I’m just astounded.”
Later in his commentary, he directly addressed the Democrats, saying: “You have insulted the Catholic Church with your rules, you have insulted right-to-work states, you have insulted certain union groups with your stand on the [Keystone] pipeline and now you’re going after God.”
“It makes no sense but that’s what they want to do,” Robertson concluded.

Pat Robertson is astounded that not everyone is much of a narrow-minded bigot as he is? Stunning.
Yes, by all means, let's hear what Pat "God sent Katrina to punish the country for its tolerance of gays" Robertson thinks. Why, I'm shocked to find he doesn't approve of Democrats. Shocked, I tell you!
I hate to say that the world feels like it is without God. I think homosexuality leads to other things like more sin. More crimes being committed by the leud.
