Is it because if she gives birth to a girl, she believes that the child will have a terrible life? Why would she think that?
If you are pro-life, then you need to be pro-life. Pro-fetus isn't pro-life. To be pro-life, you need to work on the reasons why a woman doesn't want to go through a pregnancy, why she doesn't want another baby. Find out those reasons, and fix those problems, and you'll have fewer women seeking abortions.
Rephrase: As a pro-choice person, how do YOU feel about her decision?
See, was that difficult?
I wish that no one would ever feel the need to get an abortion.
People who decide to get abortions are in a position that I can never understand. Anyone deciding to have an abortion must feel that that is the best choice for them. It is impossible for me to choose otherwise for them.
People who are pro-choice are in favor of women's rights and women's equality. The OP wants to sucker people into taking a position either in favor of what he presumes is an anti-woman action (sex selection abortion) or in favor of an action (preventing a woman from having an abortion) that we would otherwise oppose.
Being in favor of women's autonomy means being in favor of women's autonomy.
We already know which side of the abortion rights debate is in favor of women's autonomy, and which is against.
Wow I thought mine was a serious response but I guess not.
Oh well guess I'll take my opinions to another thread.
Fair enough. You answered it briefly in the first part of your post. But the entire remaining part of your answer had nothing to do with the question, and that was what you seemed to emphasize.

Typically when I answer a question there is a reason behind the answer. I assumed this was a discussion if I had known you wanted a yes or no answer than I wouldn't have bothered replying at all.
