The ones I hold most accountable are the men that engage in sex with these kind of women, then don't think twice about them killing your children. What is wrong with you? Where are the MEN? Yes, they will call you names if you stand up for your children, but so what? They don't respect you anyway, they don't even respect themselves. Find yourself a woman that takes responsibility for her choices, and has some brains - they are out there. Have some pride and take your time.
But, what about the babies? They did no wrong. I don't like immoral behavior any more than it sounds like you do, but once the deed is done, and a baby is created, let's help that mom and baby.

They are needed to keep the clients safe from the rabid religious zealots.

I'm sure the nearest homeless shelter could find them something more useful to do.
How are the escorts 'busybodies'?

The homeless shelter could find plenty for ther religious zealots to do- then there wouldn't be a need for escorts.

Haha, it occurred to me that if they truly were "pro-abortion" (stupid term, by the way, as no one is pro-abortion, but to each his own) shouldn't their "practicing" what they "preach" have involved pretty much mowing down the entire contingent of those praying? I'm just sayin' . . .

I do believe the OP is not coming clean with what they were actually doing there. In the original statement OP claims they were simply praying. However, when she was asked about how she knew what the women were doing there, suddenly the story shifted. Oh! She knew because they asked these women what they were going in there to do. Sorry sister! Now OP is no longer simply "praying." She sounds like her group is hounding these women as they're trying to go in. Really? What gives you the right to ask anyone what they're going into a medical clinic to accomplish? I would have lied, then gone out the back door and come back in the front and lied again, then gone out the back door and come back . . . you get the gist, simply to prove the point that it was none of your bleepin' business. To be fair, I won't stalk you and capture you in front of the porn store and ask you what you're going in there to buy.

I know, maybe saying you were just praying sounds much better than saying you were there hounding these poor women from going in to get medical care. But hey, if all you truly wanted to do was pray, they have churches for that sort of thing, you know.

It's your decision to harrass and try to intimidate these women.

You get pissed off when the people you harrass don't treat you nicely for your harrassment?
Unbelievable.

Maybe young girls would be able to realize that sex leads to pregnancy if religion stayed out of schools and let health classes teach about contraception, and not just abstinence only education. There are a lot of young people who believe the pull out method is effective because they have not been taught otherwise, and then they are surprised to find out they have a baby on the way. In a perfect world parents would teach their kids this, but let's be realistic. Oh, and just because your son/daughter is raised in the church and has "good" parents doesn't mean they won't want to experiment with sex before marriage. Young adults will have sex. And you, the government, the church, etc cannot and should not control what other consenting people of a reasonable age do in the bedroom. Why are YOU PEOPLE so afraid of educating our youth?

It is my belief that prayer used to attack others is not only wrong but spiritually dangerous.

Remember: but thou when thou shalt pray, enter into thy chamber, and having shut the door, pray to thy Father in secret: and thy Father who seeth in secret will repay thee.
Good point. I think it's more important for these vultures to be 'seen' to 'pray'.

So this past weekend I went to Christendom College | About for a visit. Every saturday they do something called the Sheild of Roses. We went to this Planned Parenthood Sexual & Reproductive Health Services in Washington - Downtown Center - Planned Parenthood and stood/kneeled in the garden right in front and said 4 rosaries, a litany, and a novena (for those of you how don't know they are prayers and all said together take about 1hr-1hr 1/2)

There were about 30-40 of us all together. At this PP there are "pro-choice escorts" (they actually where shirts that say this) and some of them were nice and some of them tried to intimidate us. As we were praying a nice jogger lady flipped us off, a young black man yelled some obscene things to us, people pointed and people laughed.

Some other people came and said the rosary on the sidewalk. There was a protestant man and a catholic man that stood out on the sidewalk begging women not to have the abortions and trying to tell them about the places they could go for help.

A man that worked in the PP came out and walked to his car for a cig, as he was walking he knocked the fliers out of the protestant hands and onto the ground and laughed, as he walked back he paused to cuss the man out and shove him around.

I counted 9 individual women and 3 groups of women that went in that day. Every time one would walk by I swallowed tears and bile and looked each woman in the eye, silently pleading for her to stop what she was doing. One woman as she walked by spat on us and 3 others called us names, giving the "escorts" a little chuckle.

When we were done and walked back we all shook hands with the "escorts", the nice ones and the creepy/rude one and wished them all a wonderful day. Once we got back to the car I couldn't stop myself anymore I cried for a long time and couldn't eat for hours (I have a verrrrryyyyyy strong stomach)

There are a few points to me telling you all this:
1) Liberals/pro-choice people who spout tolerance, learn some.
2) When you see people praying, whether you are Atheist, Christian, Conservative or Liberal, show some respect and don't be rude.
3) People who are pro-life: I talk about this issue a lot and i have always been very pro-life but after this experience I realize that you have to do more than just talk about it, you have to try to help people.

Thanks for reading.
So you want all Planned Parenthoods closed down and ALL abortion banned.

Great. You probably scared off folks, who might have wanted to go there for information about how not to get pregnant. Or maybe someone who was broke, and needed a free exam for an STD.

If you love life so much, wouldn't a better use of time, have been spent volunteering at a nursing home, with elderly people, or giving respite care to foster parents, who have opened their homes to children with disabilities? There are so many other, worthwhile causes to spend your time on...

And if babies are so important to you, have you considered adopting an unwanted child? Or being a foster parent, to an unwanted child? There are lots of them in the United States.
