Don't be silly, they drill for their own oil in their own borders.

What a concept!
Obama does not subscribe to it.

We prefer to buy some of our oil from nations that our hostile to us.

How's that for America's commitment to diversity?

I think it is pretty smart to hold onto our oil resources, by buying others now.

You mean people in some other parts of the world enjoy cheap gas thanks to subsidies provided by their governments.

Could you imagine the boost to the American economy 18 cents a gal. gasoline would bring.

What? You want even more subsidies?
More debt?

Fossil Fuel Subsidies | The Price of Oil
How much money does the U.S. government give oil, gas and coal companies?

In the United States, credible estimates of annual fossil fuel subsidies range from $10 billion to $52 billion annually, while even efforts to remove small portions of those subsidies have been defeated in Congress, as shown in the graphic below.

Your posts are always so easy to debunk.
Don't like my link? There's a fox news(?) link immediately following.

President Obama's Bid To End Oil Subsidies Voted Down By Senate
"On top of these record profits, oil companies are also getting billions a year in taxpayer subsidies," Obama said. "Think about that. It's like hitting the American people twice. You're already paying a premium at the pump right now. And on top of that, Congress thinks it's a good idea to send billions more of your tax dollars to the oil industry?"

I have another question:
Did you whine under Bush? Or only since January 2009?
