I've stopped believing conservatives who say they don't listen to Limbaugh. If it's not him, it's some other talk radio blowhard they listen to. And I do believe he exercises a lot of influence on the conservative movement.

It's schtick. I don't know when some of you will grasp that. The same with Michael Weiner. I don't doubt Sean Hannity is an authentic right-winger, but he's also checking in at about 90 on the scale.

These guys are just money-making fools who know how to exploit the prejudices and ignorance of people to enrich themselves. They see a market and take advantage of it. Paying attention to the "substance" of what they say is playing into their hands.
