It is no wonder the AG and Obama wanted people to hush about it. They are just as liable as others, since they enabled corruption by trying to keep things quiet about it all.
For months on here he was lied about and attacked. Now apologize for it
To the largest extent, it was a obviously a flawed operation ... mismanaged at the US AGs office in Phoenix and ATF headquarters in D.C. This had its roots well placed in the Bush DOJ, but it was an expanded program. The IGs report should put the issue to rest as far as learning what happened goes. There's no replacing the life or lives lost as a result of this. Holder nor the President were involved in this. But the extremists, and particularly the racists, won't let the issue go. Not until those two black men are out of Washington, D.C.
The bulk of the ATF and other career government personnel who participated in this failed operation were hired by and promoted by Bush appointees. There are several Obama administration appointees at DOJ who have either lost their jobs because of this or will be penalized.
