Discipline coming to the culprits that did wrong... hmmm, culprits or sacrificial witches?

The entire DOJ has problems. They have shown poor judgement from day one. Holder should resign and half the dept should be cleaned out. Failure and poor judgement on all levels. Holder being the top guy, has to be held accountable for not just the action of one person, but clearly they were plagued by it.

This is the government. The top guys will not be touched. The peons will be thrown under the bus but not too bad since they will only be disciplined and not fired.

Of the top guys I've read of retirement, move to a new job at the DOJ, etc.

In the Navy, you hear of ships/subs running aground. It isn't just the main person at fault who gets punished, the captain and others get relieved of duty. But of course, this doesn't happen in the political world.

I believe the term that was repeatedly regurgitated was that it was a "witch hunt". Oh, and of course, it was "racist" too.

If someone can clear up something for me. Are there not documents still sealed by Barack's Executive Privileged? If so, how can an investigation be complete if those docs are still sealed?

According to this article, it seems all the documents were not released:

"Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, one of the leading congressional critics of DOJ's handing of "Fast and Furious," issued a statement today, saying, "Operation Fast and Furious was the height of irresponsibility on the part of a number of people from the ATF Phoenix field office all the way up to the Justice Department headquarters. And, we still don't know the full extent of any White House involvement because they refused to be transparent and provide documents requested by the Inspector General. It's clear that both the ATF and the Justice Department failed to provide meaningful oversight of Operation Fast and Furious."

Thanks for pointing that out. Interesting. In reality, this would make sense for them to still be sealed. What else would they have sealed except docs that implicate more higher lever people? I hope they continue to push the courts to get those docs unsealed.

You're welcome.

Many of us said all along the Executive Priviledge was only used to protect Holder. Some speculated it went higher than that, too.
