No. I just don't like being "given" assignments like a school child. And that's all this OP does when he starts a thread. He throws up a link and then "demands" that people who do not agree with his politics point out the inaccuracies and/or lies in the video. That's not discussing, IMO. I could throw up a link to a video lecture about anything and ask you all to point out all the flaws and/or "lies" in it, but I can't imagine why anyone would want to do that.

Yes, I very much approve of many socialist programs. Absolutely. Btw, the word "socialism" does not scare me. I know what it means. Maybe you should learn the meaning yourself and learn all the GOOD things which have resulted from many of the "social" programs in this country.

Anyone who actually knows what it means is not scared of the word.

The two go hand in hand. Yes, there are exceptions, but not many. And what passes for "Capitalism" these days is a scam in many cases. It's more like Cartel-ism.

He may not have said it, but it wouldn't surprise me if he is. He's totally into the New World Order dictatorship thing.

True Marxism would be quite the opposite of an authoritarian government.

No government that has called itself communist was actually communist, it's just been statist. The state just used communism as a propaganda tool (this is not the government's police force, it's the people's!). Communism advocates a stateless society with little authority. I think it's safe to say, therefore, that the USSR, China, Cuba, Vietnam, Yugoslavia, etc do not fit that bill.

You are so wrong ... so sadly deceived and deluded. And if you really did "know" what socialism means, then you'd have to also admit to being a sadist for embracing it's philosophy. The reality is, socialism is that little chunk of cheese set atop the mousetrap. It's that wiggly little worm stuck on a hook. It's the classic bait & switch, and further evidence of the sad truth that "there is a sucker born every minute". And she is an accomplished prostitute, well practiced in the skill of seduction, who's true intention is not to make love to you, but to rob you blind the moment you drift off to sleep. And she'll do it without hesitation, and not an inkling of remorse. After all, in her mind, you've earned what's coming to you. How dare you think you can use her as an object for your own personal gratification. That will teach you a lesson in exploitation.

Socialism, according to Karl Marx, is the transitional stage between the abolishment of capitalism and the realization of communism. Of course, that's really just a clever way of saying that socialism is communism's lure of empty promises that are necessary to attract it's next group of clueless victims. It's the offer that sounds too good to be true, and the big lie for which life's most gullible, most selfish and most lazy types always welcome with open arms. Socialism is the brainchild of criminal minds, designed as ideological fruit for feeding fools.

The rotten portion of this fruit comes from it's core philosophy of "From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs", which some of it's followers mistake as some form of higher minded wisdom. But this is simply the disease which causes socialism's ugly lesions and foul odor. While it professes to provide an avenue toward equality and better outcomes for all, it is the road to hell, which was never paved by good intentions. And the only thing it can or ever was intended to do, is to ensure that the honest, conscientious producers of society which make up the majority, become slaves to the lazy, the greedy and the dishonest minority. And that result is more predictable, and just as certain as tomorrow's sunrise.

In fact, socialism attracts the very types of individuals who are least equipped to deal successfully in social and financial governing, let alone be in charge of a system so fundamentally flawed by nature. You'll see the naive and hopelessly idealistic types attracted to socialism's Utopian idealism, though these types seem oblivious to the existence of the others who are also attracted to socialism's promises ... the lazy, the greedy and the dishonest, who all lay in wait for their chance at a free meal ... a free ride .. and an opportunity to exploit the systems weaknesses, all at the expense of those foggy eyed idealists, and also at the expense of the wiser unfortunate opponents of the system who've been dragged, kicking and screaming, into this ill-conceived collectivist nightmare against their will.

And who will ultimately benefit from this? It will always be the dishonest ones. They will gravitate toward the positions of authority, who'll make sure that they become the primary beneficiaries of this collectivism. The conscientious and productive will do all of the hard work, while the lazy do nothing, and the dishonest steal what is produced. That's how it works, every single time, without exception. But sooner or later, the hard work slows down, because even suckers eventually wise up ... and will refuse to bust their rear ends so that the lazy can have a free ride, and the dishonest can continue the exploitation. The system will indeed eventually fulfill it's promise of equality for all. Trouble is, it is the equal distribution of failure.

The only real exception was not allowed to develop. Chile elected an openly Marxist leader in a free election and we could not take the chance that Salvador Alende' might actually prove that Communism and Democracy could co-exist. So, we engineered a coup to remove him from office. Some believe we even had him murdered.

I am watching our country going down the drain even now. The middle class is in trouble . The banks are in trouble. Our government is in trouble and we have 25 nations with a power build up in the middle east.

We have Israel on the brink of war.Iran working to get a nuclear bomb to destroy us and Israel..

Hello no gas for the cars if the middle east has war . Obama taking over the gas stations. Then food prices go sky high Obama takes over the supermarkets. people rioting for lack of food because the cost of shipping food goes through the roof. Or no shipping food for lack of fuel.

We are having our rights taken away. It won't matter who is locked out of the supermarket with armed guards if you are a republican or democrat or independent.

Obama will not let any crisis go to waste . He will see it as a chance for another power grab and take down this country. He is a globalist and is an anti-american .. His allegiance is not to this country founded by the , in his mind.. the rich whites.. Obama the anti-colonialist sees us as the rapists of other countries and we have had our good times for too long. Obama wants to spread our wealth around the world. This is his vision and has been for many many years.
