As I eat an entire box of cheez-its, I have to comment on what a great "first lady project" she's taken up: obesity and awareness (like we aren't aware though). We are so freakin fat it's ridiculous, especially kids like 10 year olds with diabetes. I was born in the late 80s and we didn't get a computer until 1996 and video games until 1997 with N64, and I was just never a gamer, always played outside with neighborhood friends, and thank God for that.

Anyway, I have to say, I hope she's successful in her campaign. Good luck, Mrs. O

Wow, you really call the first lady that. Did your parents not teach you manners. I bet she works out more than you do She looks awesome. And face it, our kids our obese so what's your problem with her wanting to do something about it.

Perhaps you should educate yourself about the cost of obesity epidemic.

Uh, honestly, it's in the Top 5 of domestic threats to America IMO, and easily the #1 cause of our current health care crisis.

Actually, yes, it is. Especially among children and first lady projects are almost always social issues involving children.

Um, hello....she is not the president. All first ladies have their causes. Laura's cause was reading. Did you have a problem with her and her cause. Nope, I'm sure you didn't And obesity is a major issue in this country. It causes all our health care premiums to go up to pay for them . Do you know how many health issues are associated with obesity. And do you know how many health issues could be eliminated if they lost the weight and just be a normal weight.

Tell it to the people who are loosing houses and are looking for jobs paying more than a minimal age. Obesity is not a priority now.

If XYZ Corporation didn't have to shell out $30,000 in health insurance benefits for Fatty, more people would be hired. Ever think of that?
