386,000 jobs found that were "unreported" (employment, suspect, conspiracy)

Would you believe that they missed reporting this many jobs ? I'm betting that they will find a few million more before the election and that they will be reporting un-employment falls to 7.5% by the end of October. As long as they're lying ,they might as well go all the way !

What I find interesting is for the past few years, the media was silent on the fact that Obama had no net jobs created. Suddenly he may have finally created a job, and its news. Its just so pathetic to watch how they promote this guy and ignore all the negatives.
With the amount of brown nosing the media does he should be up by 30 points.

I'm sure hundreds of thousands of more people will leave the work force too, not counting them anymore should help the U3 numbers look good. I can see Obama rubbing his hands together in hopes of that occurring before Nov.

First of all this is an annual rebenchmarking that they do. This is preliminary as well.
The final figure won't come out until Feb 2013.

If this were bad news you'd never hear about it (as in previous years).
But this is done annually and it's preliminary.

Further evidence of incompetence.

Conspiracy theories originate when the plausible seems unlikely. We place so much faith in the system; when it fails we assume there has to be some other explanation. It doesn't seem possible or plausible that the Labor Department could be that incompetent and have missed hundreds of thousands of jobs. The timing is suspect. It must be a conspiracy.

I know better; most government agencies really are that incompetent.
