Whatever someone thinks about race, this is American's problem -- too many Americans with no future. The answer is jobs - but the politicians (both parties) don't believe Americans need jobs, the so-called American Dream now only means college financial aid and good jobs and nice homes for foreigners living here illegally.

Plight of young black men worse than you think- MSN Money

The reported figures are bad enough. The employment/population ratio for black males aged 16-24 was 33 percent in August, vs. 52 percent for white males of the same age group. But the black number is skewed upward by the exclusion of jail and prison inmates. The white number is also skewed upward, but less so because a smaller share of young white males are incarcerated.

Could the writer of the article be bothered to give us the white v black incarceration figures so I could figure how much it distorts unemployment figures?

That was the main point of the article.
