Are you concerned that the Republican Party and its new standard-bearer are too inclined to compromise with the gay Muslim abortion agenda of the Dimocrat Party? Do you wish conservative Christians had more of a voice in Washington and the states? Are you eager to increase awareness of Christian issues and values?
Well, today's your lucky day. There's a brand-new political party just for you.
It would be great to break the republican party up.
1) The crazy far right lunatics that believe in fairy tales, think this Country is a 'Christian nation", focuses all their efforts on war and anti-abortion (explain that one to me), loves guns, hates gays, etc etc.
2) The old school republican party that believes in small government and being fiscal conservative, but yet starts supporting more liberal social agendas.
Then the republican party may actually be taken serious gain, (well the one labeled in #2). I would love to see more than a coke vs pepsi in America. Lets have 5 different parties all equal in power. Maybe even more than that.
This leads credence to the fact that Republican party just might become the New Whig party.
Or something similar.
To all the right wingers on this forum - tell your party to get its act together, there's a country that apparently needs saving and you all are not the knights in shining armor you make yourselves out to be. Purge yourself of the religious lunatics and give the American people a reason to vote Republican.
Most of the reps I know (myself included) are fiscally conservative and socially moderate, meaning that just because we may have a personal dislike or disbelief in something doesn't mean that everyone should.
I would love to see a candidate that thinks like this. Social issues really have no business in politics right now. We have too many economic issues to overcome.
There are different areas of this country that have different social beliefs and I feel that those issues need to be left up to the states and what's best for their citizens.
