Revision after revision... Never in the other direction, either!

360,000- 380,000, per week, is about 1.5 million a month, going on UE.

Add those, to the people that have exhausted their 99 weeks and those that were classified as self employed.

Romney was being generous, with the 23 million out of work citizens.

And there's always someone to put this in a positive light.

The unemployed didn't rise too high so that means we have steady employment....

Jobless claims point to steady labor market - Yahoo! News
The number of Americans filing new claims for unemployment benefits rose only slightly last week after a big drop the week before, keeping in place a trend that suggested a mild improvement in the labor market.

I thought so too, thought Romney was killing him with kindness in a sort of way. Romeny did not have to be all tough and attack, he got him with the facts.

He seems much more poised then obama who seemed to be more frustrated.

23 MILLION out of work, thought way too generous myself.

When you have a slanted a-- bias media who goes soft on you, on your record and policies, not use to someone stating the facts right to your face.

Try and skew the u.e numbers anyway you want, this economy is in the tank and poised to get much worse. With the administration asking the Lockheed to postpone their layoff notices, this is getting far worse than better. Makes me sick when mouthbreathers can't pull themselves away from the main stream media spin and see the truth. The truth is the foodstamp population just gets bigger and bigger. I think Obama's dismal performance last night was in part due to the fact that we are heading for another economic crisis and he doesnt really want to be at the helm of the ship when it hits.

I can't even begin telling you all about unemployment. It's more then there just not being any jobs available for everyone. There's a whole seperate paradigm of unemployed people who just can't get a job for whatever reason. Everything from age discrimination, disability discrimination, outsourcing, illegal immigration, employers demanding experience for no reason, poverty wages, the list goes on and on. There's 2 types of unemployed. The ones who can't even get interviews and call backs, and people who CAN get past the gauntlet but are NEVER chosen. You've seen people who say they've gone on 30, 40, 50, 60 interviews, moved to different states, online job applications, personality tests, resumes, NEPOTISM, certain races only hiring their own, the list goes ON AND ON.

The entire system is broken.

Sorry, I have to say it........If you go on 60 interviews and can not get a job the problem is as likely as not, you.

Now that doesn't mean that unemployment isn't doing exactly what many have claimed it would. Heading back up.
