Tactical state-by-state approach leading to Supreme Court action
Brownback, with nearly 20 years of dedication in Washington and Topeka to countering the Roe v. Wade decision by the U.S. Supreme Court on abortion, promised to sign any bill restricting the procedure that landed on his desk. He kept his word and rendered into law a half dozen pieces of legislation reforming abortion in Kansas.
He has demonstrated eagerness to place Kansas at the forefront of the state-by-state movement toward an anti-abortion America.
"They're in the right and where God would have them be," the governor said. "Then you get to the tipping point and it moves really fast, like in the state of Kansas."
They are coming for us? That is so dramatic. Will they have their pitchforks and torches and start raping us and forcing us to have their children?. It is insulting to think that men believe the only thing women think about is our uterus. On my list of priorities, abortion is a few pages back. I will worry about this as much as I will worry about Nanny Bloomberg taking away New Yorker's Big Gulps.
