Columbine had an armed resource officer on duty on that fateful day. Why do the "we need guns in schools" crowd never address that fact?

Yet the anti-gun crowd continues to insist laws banning guns will make bad people stop doing bad things to others?

Facts like you can never find 300 million guns even if you got the ok to do it? Fact - there will always be endless black market guns just as there are drugs.

That makes a lot of sense relative to what the OP said.

yes. And the armed Deputy engaged Harris in a gun fight and called for backup. it would have been far worse without him there. Armed people don't guarantee that something won't happen - it just guarantees you the ability to resist and defend.

One officer? How big was the school? Many of the schools i've visited are like an airport terminal. Ever had to run to catch a flight? You probably didn't get there quickly.

That officer saved two people who would have been killed. The officer tended to a wounded victim while waiting for backup instead of continuing to pursue the shooters. Whether or not the officer should have waited outside is a question.
