I own a diary belonging to a German woman and have spoken with her about the WWI time period. We never discussed Jews, only why she was pro Hitler.
She told me her family was starving to death and Hitler's rise to power brought food. I got the impression she didn't care where it came from, just that some prosperity returned, and Hitler got the credit.
What I found hair-raising was her diary. Her own brother, a polio victim, a German national, was also one of Hitler's victims.
Her diary entry (paraphrased) said: Brother was put to death, like so many other sick and crippled, to better the race. Period. No emotion at all. Just factual. Totally accepting. Chilling.
She, along with millions of other Germans, believed Hitler's propaganda and I don't believe it was for food alone. However, it was certainly a very delicate topic we discussed that day and I'm not sure she (or any regular citizen) can fully articulate why. My opinion is with the dire living situation in Germany, people needed something/someone to blame and it was easy for them to transfer their frustration and anger on an educated and in many circumstances, better off people.

What many don't understand is that the Nazi's were a far left organization that did what they did under the belief that it was for the greater good. Letting the government have a say in what your health care will be, who gets treatment etc. is strings of the very same thing. It should scare you. To them, the horrible experiments they did with those they considered to be human throwaways were to benefit a superior race. The very first people killed were disabled, the first gas chambers were installed in hospitals for the disabled. They were first on the list, before the Jews.
The government is an entity that when in control has no reason to want to support those it can't make use of, such as the disabled. If everyone is made dependent the government decides who lives or dies. That is big government in a nutshell. People should always be in control of their government, not the other way around.

In the United States, people are in control of their govt. However, the problem that we have is the propaganda that is paid for by large mega corporations.

As long as people have the right to vote and every vote is counted, we are in charge. The problem we have is who is controlling the information that we receive. When the majority of the information that we receive is from the same corporate sources then we start to have a major problem. In Germany, Hitler was a master of controlling the information and then shaping it. I see the same problem today. Instead of receiving news, we receive spun news. We have a select few who control what information we receive and then we have corporate controlled "news" agencies that then spin that to a political advantage. This is the greatest threat we have to our people controlled govt.
Not only did the Jewish suffer so did the disabled!

Neither do medical records, which show that medical personnel cursed their patients as "imbeciles," ''idiots" and "useless eaters."
Indeed, there is now little doubt that for many of the dead — mentally and physically disabled people considered by the Nazis to be human garbage — their final months were hell on Earth.

They were "equal opportunity" killers.
Oddly, they embraced Islam as a foil against Jews. There was a Croation Muslim SS division and the Nazis cooperated with the Mullahs in an joint effort to eliminate Jews. It's kind of like the liberals today-

war on the "upper class"

state "benefits" to political supporters

People are in control all right, the problem is the people. We've been degenerating into zombies completely reliant on the government to provide. Half of us are already beyond the point of no return and without hope, its up to the rest to reverse course before a 'national socialist' party is able to step in and take the reins.

If Hitler had succeeded, multiculturalism and white guilt would not be present in Europe right now. Jewish people living in Europe should be deported back to their homeland so they can defend "their" land against the aggressors and leave Europe to the Europeans.
When such a small minority controls such a large share of the media, and that media is used to dishonor the native population's ancestors, undermine their culture and values, and force "multiculturalism" on the natives, eyebrows begin to raise.
