Is this any surprise?

Ann Coulter to Piers Morgan: You

Instead of apologizing for using the words that hurts others, she tries to makes others look bad. Is she insane?

She just goes around throwing profanities and whatnots around and expecting people to just take it like it is? I support her freedom of speech but come on. I thought Sarah Palin would at least call Coulter out!

Also on the side note, here is a group being put together to ask Ann Coulter to apologize. Please "like" it if you can. I know I did!

People have been using the term retarded for a long time. Sorry if that makes you feel bad. I don't really like being called a cracker, but sticks and stones......

I know. I completely agree. This is why I said I support her freedom of speech but lately, it just seems to be getting out of hand especially from the right side of the political spectrum.

...may break my bones...but word will never...

This is a non-issue.

[it's not like she invented the word or is the first to use it]

I don't have an issue with whatever that vile Ann Coulter wants to call anyone. I am in my late 40s and remember, as a child, when "retard" was used easily by kids against kids. It's only recently become un-PC to use it.

That said, I believe a certain has-been politician was up in arms a few years ago by someone using this term. That certain someone doesn't seem to be raising much of a stink about it flying out of Ann's mouth.

She just wants attention and the media is giving in to this attention seeker. Otherwise no one would
speak her name. She needs to sell books right? She's been soon it for years.

The retards at the Daily Kos constantly call her a tranny and they're supposed to be tolerant of those kinds of people.

Free speech has its consequences. "Retard" is offensive, and it has been inappropriate for a long time. Back in high school in the mid 60s, I had a friend whose sister was considered "retarded". We were at an assembly once and some girls a couple of rows behind us were talking about something being so retarded. My friend read them the riot act. It has never been "OK" to call someone retarded; it has always been a pejorative term. It is sad that terms for the disabled have to be changed every decade or so b/c the general public co-opts them, e.g. moron, cretin, imbecile, retard, etc.

I saw the show. I always notice how Coulter smiles when she says something like this. It's in between the ranting, but it's there all the same. She also said she finds her way of talking "amusing." Really if no one paid any attention to this horrible person she wouldn't get the air time. She knew full well what she was doing by using this disgusting term. This is fun to her and is what sells her wretched books. I wouldn't give this woman the time of day. She doesn't care who she hurts just as long as it gets her booked on TV shows. She is just another pathetic person who has found a way to market her hate and make a bunch of money in the process.
