where I live there are plenty of street bums, winos and junkies , generally stinking the place up and begging for money.
they serve no purpose whatsoever for society so what should be done with them?
most of them cannot change even if they wanted to - so should they just be shipped off to a remote island somewhere, or perhaps repatriated to a 3rd World nation (seeing as we take in a lot of trash from those parts of the world) - a kind of quid pro quo as it were.
How about each conservative adopting a baby that would otherwise be aborted
That is fine with me. Can't speak for any other conservative, but I prayed to God to give me a special needs baby if someone else would have aborted it otherwise. And God answered my prayer. . Now he is ten and he and I are doing great and he is a blessing.
Obama and redistribution thugs will surely take from the productive class, and "share the prosperity" with those less fortunate. When he comes knocking at your door and tells you to pack your crap and find a new place to live, you'll see what I mean.

I think that's wonderful And I think you are a special person for for adopting a baby like that. But there are not many like you and there are so many special kids who need a home.
I stop at a C store to buy an iced tea every day near work; this past week I've had several bums try to hit me up for money and I'm getting real tired of it. I'm in Phoenix.
a friend of mine has suggested that we torch them. i told him it was a bad idea as there might be collateral damage to some otherwise perfectly good buildings.
in reality there isnt much we can do about the homeless issue. and it isnt for a lack of trying either. do we put them in an institution? who is going to pay for that? we cant force them to work if they dont want to, so that is out. all we can do is be there when they decide its time for a change, and help them along the way to being on their own as productive members of society.
