That wouldn't be needed. Most of the power that is off has been done so by the companies.

Actually, solar panels, if in place, would have still been supplying power to the area.

Electric power lines came down and the companies are not keeping up with the gas to supply generators.

Heh heh...
He can also supply those windmills with more than enough hot air to run them. Come to think of it, his brillance can fire up those solar panels.
