The Republican Governor of NJ surely knows all the specifics and has stated this:

'When somebody does a good job, they deserve credit. Anybody who is upset in the Republican Party about this, they haven't been to New Jersey. Come see the destruction, come see the loss.'

Good enough for you? Or do you now consider Christie a traitor too?

Republicans think that anyone who praises what Obama has done to be traitorous, that is how much they hate him. It is really childish if you think about it.

Talk to your state legislature about that. That is a state issue.

Smack you! I meant apply for a job. You seem to know exactly how to run the agency.

Pray tell, what did you THINK he should do that a President is supposed to do?
Christine, we will see how well the authorities look after their own in the near future here. There is supposed to be a Noreaster coming that way to add to the miserable situation already at hand.

I am a bit concerned with possible freezing temps coupled with possible snow, there could be a human disaster again.
I am hoping that before the severe weather strikes, that someone is doing something about people who lost their homes and people without electric or heat.

Besides signing blank checks for taxpayer funded aid, there really is nothing any president can do. Well, they can get federal agencies to relax certain regulations and wave some laws, but beyond that, they really can't do anything.

Christie's not my Governor. Idiot Cuomo is NY's Governor. Why doesn't he order odd/even fill up for gas stations like Christie did? You should see the gas lines around me! I can't even go to the doctor because I am down to 1/4 of a tank and can't risk being left on empty with the Nor'Easter approaching. It is absolute insanity that in one of the wealthiest sections of this country that people can't put gas in their cars for a week now!
