So the rest of Congress doesn't count ? I'm not worried that she is going to crush the banks.
The rest of Congress is beholden to the banks and that won't happen.
Obama had the chance to appoint her and he didn't ...because the banks were against it big time.

Yes, my favorite victory of the night. I'll be interested to see if she can push the Democrats back to the left and continue putting pressure on a financial sector that has really faced minimal reform (or non-rhetorical pressure from Obama) since the calamity it brought upon itself and the American people.

I won't be surprised to see her as a prez candidate now in 2016. It would have been an embarrassment if she couldn't win in the only state that voted for George McGovern, but she won pretty solidly 54-46, so now she becomes a contender for 2016.

“Wall Street CEOs -- the same ones who wrecked our economy and destroyed millions of jobs -- still strut around Congress, no shame, demanding favors, and acting like we should thank them,” Warren said at the convention. “Anyone here have a problem with that? Well I do.”
