Today, liberals hurl the “fascist” expletive around at people like me – freedom lovers, those who value individual freedom, personal responsibility and self-government.
But back in the 1930s, Mussolini was their darling. If you doubt me, take the time to read Jonah Goldberg’s seminal study of the subject, “Liberal Fascism.”

Thanks for the advise...but in a way i'm actually quite pleased that Obama won...I can hardly wait to see what all the liberal yuppies in New England do when the following happens...
As a conservative Republican I am begging you to give President Obama and those that voted for him everything they want.
They want higher taxes on the rich and companies, give it to them.
They want higher capital gains taxes that will hurt their investments, give it to them.
They want a system that will make Medicare insolvent in 2024 and Social security insolvent soon after that, give it to them.
They want policies that will lead to constant double digit unemployment for minorities and young people, give it to them.
They want an educational system that entraps the poor in failing schools, give it to them.
They want higher energy prices, give it to them.
They want to spend trillions fighting global warming while China and India continue to tap oil and coal, give it to them.

"Four more years!" they kept yelling, as they gave "suggested voting ballots" to their voting friends, "here, you mark your ballot just like this..." one guy kept pulling up his pants -- the crotch had a way of sliding down almost to his knees.
