I've always wondered how a party could allow one of it's leaders to public state that their number 1 priority was to sabatoge the sitting President and thus the country. Now that McConnell has failed in such an epic way, why is he still pretending to sit in a position of power? Conservatives blabber on and on about Pelosi and Reid when this quack loser McConnell is running around making a fool of himself, his party and the country.

I thin the ebst i s ever saw was Teedy Keeenedy suddenly introducing his own medicare drug plan because basically he wanted to stop bush passig his plan. Even othert democrats rejected that one because of suport form other democratic interest groups. Just as we now see Obam insisting that the bush tax cuts for under 200+ not be elmianted when he and other previous said the cuts were only for the rich and shpould all be allowed to expire.

No Mtich McConnell will get a pass because ideology is more important to Conservative than facts, doing what's best for the country, decency or common sense.
I wanted McConnell to lose more than I wanted Obama to win. I am very happy.
This make the president fail attitude REALLY pissed me off. How disgraceful and contemptuous of our government. That is not leadership-it is fascism. I was quite afraid that he was going to be rewarded for screwing over the American people in his push for one party rule.
Now that his sleazy, scorched earth plan has failed, I expect that folks will give him the sound of one hand clapping.
If he were tossed out in 2014, I would think quite highly of Kentuckians.
