Extending the food stamp program to countries like Bangladesh and Somalia sounds like a great idea to me.

Just thing what a great boon this would be to farmers in America!

And the beat goes on. Thanks to the Democrats. What will this country be in the next four years. I shudder to think.

A very large portion of our poverty is imported. It would actually make more sense to give third world nations food stamps and let their people stay home. Now we give them food stamps but only if they sneak over to live here.

I think the congress is working on a bill to put the breaks on freebies. At least that is what my congressman's aid told me when she called in response to concern I had about nobody verifying income for reduced and free lunch recipients.

Some states do not permit purchasing frivolous items with food stamps. Some do.

The biggest lobbying for food stamp expansion is grocery chains, food producers and fast food chains. They are the ones making out like bandits.

Y'all get on here beeching about lazy people on food stamps. It would not be possible for them to sit on their arses eating Big Macs if they did not have some powerful helpers. The R's control the house. Let them stop expanding the program. All they need to do is cut the funding.

Hey! I've seen the light! Now tell me how to get on the gravy train. I'm healed of the puritan work ethic. I want the free ride. Where do I get my ticket?

All of our safety nets together don't add up to what we spend on defense. I guess building squadrons of aircraft the military doesn't want/need is more important than kids eating..

Anyway, keep the food stamp outrage going. It sure worked out well for ya..The majority of American see through the foolishness.
