A Hard Lesson To Learn Living with HIV/AIDS

Michelle Anderson is a mother, an activist, and a recent beauty pageant winner. However, she is more than that. She's also one of the thousands of African American women living with HIV/AIDS. While HIV and AIDS was once considered to be a White gay male disease, the face of HIV has shifted dramatically and now overwhelmingly affects African Americans with a sharp increase in African American women.

A Hard Lesson To Learn Living with HIV/AIDS

Be careful out there.

Genital Herpes Statistics

Oh yah. Look around..... 1 in 4 adults have herpes. *Shock*

Genital Herpes Statistics
Spooky.

Then again, I've had fever blisters. Guess I got the herpes, too. I look clean, though.

Umm...wrap it up, keep clean, get tested.

Black, white, man or woman.

This has nothing to do with race.

For decades now HIV/Aids has not discriminated. It affects those that take light of their sexual involvement. This has nothing to do with race , sex, or orientation but culture. Don't want social diseases, select your partner carefully, and date them. Let sex come about when the time is right, not when the hormones are running. Everyone has sexual desire, but those that value their health need to evaluate their choices carefully. You can not look at someone and know if they are safe. Ever consider getting tested for each other when in the dating process? I considered that a courtesy for my significant others.
