No way. Sometimes I hate what people say when using that privilege; Lord knows I cringe a little every time some idiot burns the flag. But dang it, they can't say anything that will make me want to change that amendment. I resent any politician, from any political persuasion, who would suggest such a thing.

Do you people ever read the linked articles?

He's talking about the fact that corporate political contributions are protected under the First Amendment.

I read it. I think Freedom of Speech is sacred, not just for me, but for all.

Really? Which party has repeatedly proposed amending the Constitution to prohibit flag burning? It's always conservative Republicans.

Another word for fascism is corporatism. This congressman opposes the Citizens United ruling, which would make him anti-fascist. Whether he's a liberal is irrelevant (except to an angry name-caller).

I believe this is the same free speech that conservatives like John McCain attempted to curtail.
