I heard on the news that 25 percent of Republicans have ideation (my terminology) about their state seceeding after they failed to take back the Presidency.

I guess there is just nothing to do but jump ship. There's no Clay Aiken or Rebecca Jarvis in politics to make winners by the power of the purse...just no outlet for those who feel that they of all people should not suffer the perceived indignity of losing.

Do we really need another thread on secession...I am still waiting for those who started to cry about secession when Romney lost to finally secede from the country....a lot of talk with no action from those people I see.

Or is it as the Russian article said, the Liberal government will continue operating outside the will of the people and these states will be held hostage.
25,000 does not represent the Will of the People in any state.

We care what Russian journalists think now? As I understand it "peaceful seccesseion from the union" is a non sequitur. Ain't gonna happen. Peacefully, that is...

The smallest state population still exceeds 800,000 people. Now go find a third grader to lend you a calculator. And teach you how to divide.

I see exactly what is going on. Supposed grownups are throwing tantrums like two year olds denied a cookie. It's hilarious.

These nut job secessionists should take these petitions to the citizens in each of these states and see what "the will of the people" actually is. I have a feeling they will be disappointed to find that they are not close to a majority voice in a single state.
