The American left is mysteriously silent. I guess this kind of thing only matters if the perpetrator is a Republican.

Why don't you provide a link which substantiates this?
If he's pulling this move to draw us into another war, I'd be incensed. However, I'd like some credence to your claim, first.

Syria got those weapons from Iraq when they were moved there prior to the Iraq war.

I don't watch TV. I get most of my news from the Economist.
From the article title given, the word "If" is used. From my understanding, "if" denotes a condition, not a certainty. In this sense, I see no parallel with Bush's out and out lying to the entire world.

I mean, "if" Iran attacks Delaware, I'm sure we'd go to war, too.
