It is still quite relevant.
Has anything changed with regards to the OP?
NOPE
We still have the same policies in government favoring the nationless globalist entities at the expense to the people of this nation.
You're right. Corporations are using the government as a tool to block competition and get other advantages that result in them making more money. The funny thing is, many people want to solve this with more legislation. The less power the government has (I prefer zero power) the less businesses can use it for their own benefit.

I prefer less government power but they are not listening.
We know who they are listening to
Multivariate analysis indicates that economic elites and organised groups representing business interests have substantial independent impacts on US government policy, while average citizens and mass-based interest groups have little or no independent influence.

You should ask Hillary since she said that businesses and corporations don't create those jobs. Maybe she could tell you who does create the jobs.

And if you buy anything Hillary says, you are another that has fallen for the partisan games.
I hardly think Hillary is an example of anti business and anti corporations when she was on the board of Walmart Directors before they went all China Mart.
In 1986, when Wal-Mart's founder, Sam Walton, tapped Clinton to be the company's first female board member, Wal-Mart was a fraction of its current size, with $11.9 billion in net sales.
Today, Wal-Mart is the world's largest retailer and largest private employer, with over $312 billion in sales last year and 1.3 million employees in the US alone.
Throughout the 1980s, both Bill and Hillary Clinton nurtured relationships with Walton, a conservative Republican and by far Arkansas' most influential businessman.

Oh but those words "businesses and jobs don't create jobs" .. came out of her mouth. Why? Did she see anti-business worked so well for Obama so she is jumping on it?
So crooked bankers rely on big government to perpetuate their fraud. Who's the party of big government again?
