Common sense has lost the battle and now we have no choice but to let it play out.

Liberalism can not be fixed until there is total collapse similar to Greece so I know longer fight it finding it easier to stand back and watch.

Rubio makes some valid points, especially concerning education. What are his solutions? Saying "we need to do this and that" is empty rhetoric without saying how we accomplish such goals.

Rubio mentioned nothing about liberalism. The problems he described are structural. We are all at fault here, liberal, conservative, moderate, Democrat, Republican, independent. These problems have been building for decades. They didn't suddenly appear four years ago.

You should watch Fox sometime, instead of just bashing it. You might actually learn something. A good program for starters would be Neal Cavuto (4:00 pm Eastern). Neal is a pretty savvy guy, who understands economics and finances. He talks to Democrats and Republicans alike.

At least you would have some reason to bash Fox if you didn't like it.

You certainly don't get any kind of "balance" from the other Networks. One is the same as another, and all are heavily slanted toward Democrat viewpoints, and pedal the leftist propaganda and the Obama administration talking points.

Most of you leftists still believe that the Benghazi attack on our Consulate was caused by a video, and had nothing to do with al-Qaeda, do you not? That is ignorance, and it is inexcusable.

Knowledge is power, my friend. Get some.

Knowledge is power? You might want to look elsewhere for knowledge.

Yes it will. Tax the banks and the ultra rich (those worth more than $10M, not $250K)

Partly true.

Yes, the problems have been building for decades; however, the problems are mostly due to liberal policies (the CRA for example, which is responsible for the 'mortgage crisis' and meltdown).

We have a situation where cutting spending in any budget category never happens, despite the rhetoric. It's called "baseline budgeting." The way it works is, whatever the budget was for the previous year is the "baseline" and that budget increases by a pre-established percentage each successive year. When Republicans have proposed reducing that rate of expansion, Democrats howl that Republicans are making "Draconian cuts" (a favorite expression, intended to elicit a horrified response and public outcry against any such "cuts"). But they aren't "cuts." The budget is still increasing.

We have to learn to make real cuts! Some programs should be eliminated. We have a lot of wasteful spending on liberal programs. We fund ridiculous studies and activities (Harry Reid made famous the Cowboy Poetry festival funded in part by tax dollars!).

We don't have a revenue problem. We have a spending problem, and it can be dealt with, if any politicians have the backbone. Unfortunately, it seems, it is too often the Democrat Party that is the Party of Greed. They cannot muster the courage to make any cuts in anything, and it isn't likely to happen as long as Obama is president either, as he is the Spender-in-Chief, having increased spending more than any President in history. But, that was his intent - to bankrupt the United States. Which is why Rush Limbaugh said, "I hope he fails."
