I noticed in the video that she said 6 out of her 7 kids were disabled including herself.

when you have government paying for it, why turns it off?

Just like those subsidized apartment that included electricity and heat, why turn it off when it is free.

Wow. We don't know this woman's situation.

Why do you all jump to the conclusion that she is a poor, single mom?
What if her husband divorced her and left her with that amount of kids?
She could have been in a marriage and felt secure, but hubby left.

What if the water company really did make a mistake?

Something similiar happened to me and Pseg of Nj.
I lived in an apt,and my neighbor's electricity and mine were on the same line.
So I was paying for their electric and mine. I didn't find out until I inquired about the monthly 400 dollar electric bill.
(The dirty landlord knew about it,but didn't say anything to me)
In any event,Pseg told me they couldn't do anything about it. I would have to take it up with the landlord.
She didn't want to do anything,so I was stuck paying someone else's bills.

No, we don't know this woman's situation.
But most of us cannot fathom a nine thousand dollar water bill.

The city is irresponsible for letting it get to a 9 thousand dollar bill. Where I'm from, water bills are shut off for nonpayment after 3 months and the meter gets locked a couple of months after that. I hope that she gets some kind of a resolution because I know what it's like to be in that situation.

BTW....what's a welfare queen?? Do they have crowns and pageants?

It's clear she doesn't have the IQ level to support these kids. What's also scary is that at least 6 of her kids share a similar fate.

I would have sued both of them in small claims, and let the judge sort out responsibility.

I believe they're called tiaras and baby showers.
