I would wholeheartedly welcome a return to femininity for women in America.

I can't stand Paglia and yes she is an angry and bitter woman but I agree with her that Kate Perry and Taylor Swift are also incredibly insipid.... Most celebrities, pop singers, actresses these days tend to be bland and most have the personality of plain yoghurt.

What is femininity to you? Being barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen with a High School education?

Meh, everyones a critic. I suspect if Fox hadn't even brought it up no one would have cared and this "feminazi" would have remained a "D" list opinionator. Which is exactly what I suspect this person wanted, to sell some books or something.

Is that a problem for you? Are you assuming that because that isn't how you want to live your life other women don't?

I watched part of the clip. Was disappointed at the relative lack of revealing shots of the buxom Katy Perry. I expect more from Fox News. I had to cut it short when they got done with the obligatory clips of Katy and Taylor Swift, and OReilly started droning on about feminism, culture war, etc.

I want to know what the OP considers being feminine. The argument always seems to center around women being in the workforce instead of at home. Women who don't fit stupid gender roles that people in society expect them to.

See, your question is exactly the point I am trying to make here: that it is none of anyone's business what I choose to do with my life but my own. And that I shouldn't have to go down a certain path because others expect me to: "women are supposed to be feminine and do XYZ".

I would like for the OP to clarify that for me and to explain to me what makes a woman "feminine".

What makes a woman feminine is that they look and act like a woman. I don't think that's too hard to figure out. What is NOT feminine is a "woman" walking around with a man's haircut or a mullet covered with tats wearing Jeans, a Harley shirt and a chain hanging out of their back pocket with a wallet connected to it.

Show me the "Rule Book". Show me the "Rule" of what looking and ACTING LIKE A WOMAN entails.

If a female does that , it's feminine.....maybe not YOUR definition but that doesn't matter.
