Reward your friends and punish your enemies. Obama is so damn divisive. The Lefties love it because they would love nothing more than this country be divided along racial and political lines.
Immigration issue falls squarely within the governing powers of the federal government. But, people like you can't differentiate that from authority from within the states.
He's not claiming the federal government doesn't have the power to enforce this. He's saying they are not going to interfere.

Yeah, because it was the left that called Obama a Kenyan and a non-American while simultaenously wishing we had "the Old America" back.
If anything, we'd like the closed-minded, conservatives who clamor for the Don Draper era to go away.
We don't need you anymore, and you lost for a reason.
Meanwhile, many lefties such as myself look towards Christie and Huntsman (these are my two favorite Republicans; everyone is different) and hope it is with such Republicans we can move forward.
Quite frankly, people such as yourself are no longer needed in today's political world.
In fact, your voice is kind of muted to the point where your only choice is to air your complaints on a site like this, isn't it.

True. I don't expect the same kind of suit, but the federal government is able to enforce federal law where it contradicts and they are choosing not to. Personally, I don't care about this decision. If the states voted for it, that's fine with me. I do care about the other and the federal government forcing their negligence on states that wish to do something about a problem they face.

No, he is saying those states will not be a priority. So, resources will not be allocated. He cannot say that he won't enforce a law that he is obligated to. He will need more than just a personal decision to do that, for example, a federal court ruling that the law is unconstitutional (a case with DOMA, for example).

That's true. Effectively, there isn't much difference.
