He does make some good points. The prison industrial complex is a modern form of slavery fed largely by the war on drugs. Occasionally a white guy, me included, will get sucked into it too but even then we have it better than the blacks and Hispanics do.
Yeah, I bet he's one of the slave drivers on his own sets too. BTW, the ONLY reason minorities don't fair as well in court is because they can't afford the defense. It's NOT because of racism.
Slavery never went away, and that's definitely not the only reason why minorities are in jail more than whites
13th amendment: Section 1. Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.
So yeah slavery does exist, btw something to think about police only patrol black neighborhoods and I'm sticking to that claim
no prison system is not slavery. if it were, u would be working in a field planting cotton.
thanks to ACLU almost 100% of inmates are medically exempt for health reasons. strange in perfect shape to rob rape and kill but unfit for work.
I worked in a sweat factory at 16 for a dollar an hour. Does that make me a slave? By todays standards of what they say is racism and slavery I was a slave for a buck. Was it racism as I was white? So what is the real difference .. we white folks worked hard for a dollar and we slaved in sweat shops all over the country.

People did not choose to be dragged here in chains by choice.
Crime is a choice.
If prisons equate to slavery, prisons would minimally be self-sustaining, if not profitable.
It's a hugely profitable industry. A fantastic example of how corrupt it has become is the Harden Montana incident where a foreign military company was set to run a prison in the US:
