All laws are not created to restrict your rights. Some are created to EXPAND them.

He has one vote in Congress. The other 534 have a say, as well. There's absolutely NO indication that an assault weapons ban will pass Congress. Your simple-minded viewpoint simply won't allow you to understand that even Democrats with rural gun-owning constituents are also beholden to the gun lobby and the electorate.
