It seems like once again democrat propaganda tries to dominates the news but the American people whole heartedly disagree with Obama.

Again? This just happened yesterday, and the day before and the day before. Man, Walmart has to get more guns or people are going to keep posting on CD that they're out of guns everyday like they have been for the past week.

Polls say one thing but Americans seem to be doing the exact opposite.

Not the first time I've seen this either. Makes you wonder about these polls, doesn't it ?

whats ironic is that sales are increasing thanks to the rhetoric of those who seek to banish them from existence.

Nit picking. They forgot about the CNN, ABC News, MSNBC, WaPo, NYT, Boston Globe, etc polls who are overwhelmingly against gun bans and further restrictions.

Ironic indeed. The more they talk, the more guns are being sold. I just picked up a Sig Sauer Mosquito for the wife. It's a good practise gun for a beginer, especially for the ladies and the kids. Saves a lot of money too in ammo because it's a 22LR. 500 rounds for $20.00.

The President doesn't represent the people if his actions are in contrast to the peoples.

This does speak louder than any polls that CNN puts out. It is very clear that the USA will not give up her guns (including semi-auto). So now that the lines have been drawn in the sand, the compromise needs to be achieved. The best three suggestions (but only two have to do with guns) are:
1) Background/criminal/mental health checks mandatory for any gun sale (including gun shows and private sales). A lot will have to be sorted out to make this effective and violate HIPAA and health rights (but, it can be done).
2) Mandatory gun safes/lockers/trigger locks with high standards of quality. Cheap gun safes and trigger locks have many believing they don't work. A good safe or trigger lock can be expensive, but should be mandatory. This one alone could have prevented the Sandy Hook tragedy.
3) Mental health overhaul (as a nation). Outside of the gun debate - it is just needed. We have a highly stressed society with a suicide rate that is second only to Japan. We simply need it.

It seems this rhetoric is just meant to increase politician's shares in and the profits of gun manufacturers.
