Thank you for at least admitting you are willing to subscribe to and endorse racism to maintain a position of privilege and advantage on the social, political, and economic totem pole.
Now to address the issue of equalization. The classic way of looking at social privilege is that it allows on group to have a bigger slice of the pie. What this premise neglects is that if you give more people opportunity than the whole pie gets bigger.
The price of racism in American society is the loss of human potential to make this country and the world a better place.
Two things.
1 - your premise that "the whole pie gets bigger" is false.
and
2 - At the end of the day it's about culture. Not race.
1 - Yes, bias exists. It always will.... welcome to human nature
It's human nature for children to take a dump anytime and anywhere they damn well please UNTIL THEY ARE TRAINED THIS IS NOT SOCIALLY OR HYGIENICALLY APPROPRIATE.
Ironically if you put a group of small children together of different races they will get along just fine.
The human nature premise is just a bullshyt excuse to justify biases.
People are TAUGHT biases in order to maintain social constructs that give one group of people social, political and economic advantages over another.
Quote:
2 - Bias being used as a tool to marginalize others, systemically (in this regard), is nothing more than a theory.
The history 350 years of slavery, segregation, bias, exclusion, and discrimination of African slaves and their descendants is not a theory, its fact. To argue that bias has not been used to marginalize these people shows how far your are willing to go to insult your own intelligence to justify your bigotry, ignorance, and prejudice.

That's rich!!! Let's make analogies of dealing with humans in a closed environment everyday with evacuating our bowels because they are SO SIMILAR.

Yea, guess what? You can raise a bear cub at home with your family. It will be cute and cuddly, it will play with you and roll around on the ground with you. Until some point, it gets really big, and really hungry. It grows LONG A** teeth and claws and then one day leaves you dismembered with your innards spread decoratively all over your living room wall like a mural.

Oh yea....nature is bullsh*t. How Darwinian of you.

You live everyday with preferences. You exercise them, you perpetuate them, you exclude, you prod and poke fun at certain types, you make calculated decisions based off of them.
Social justice is cancer. How do you achieve equality as an END????
I will give you a hint - You can't.

It was. But it isn't anymore...so what is your point?

Bullsh*t, rising incomes among Black, Hispanic Asia or other non-White Americans don't stop incomes from White Americans from rising.

2 - At the end of the day it's about culture. Not race.
Since the inception of the United States unitl the 1960s White Americas have instituted laws and government policies to separate people by race and in doing so race and culture have to a certain sense become intertwined.
We investigated the association between a U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH) R01 applicant’s self-identified race or ethnicity and the probability of receiving an award by using data from the NIH IMPAC II grant database, the Thomson Reuters Web of Science, and other sources. Although proposals with strong priority scores were equally likely to be funded regardless of race, we find that Asians are 4 percentage points and black or African-American applicants are 13 percentage points less likely to receive NIH investigator-initiated research funding compared with whites. After controlling for the applicant’s educational background, country of origin, training, previous research awards, publication record, and employer characteristics, we find that black applicants remain 10 percentage points less likely than whites to be awarded NIH research funding. Our results suggest some leverage points for policy intervention.

Sounds like they are violating the Civil Rights Act law.
You put a bunch of kids of different races together and they segregate themselves.
I've seen it in classrooms. They self segregate.
If you are talking about Texas then I'm not surprised.
In most cases by that time their parents have TAUGHT them to self-segregate.
Take a bunch or six or nine month babies and put them together and they will get along fine.
I've seen cases where kids don't self-segregate. It's all about where you live and what the prevailing social attitudes are.
