Can't answer.
It depends on the time frame.
When it is early enough it does not end a life, it prevents one.

Arent there some states in america where abortion is legal but if you murder a mother and her unborn child you can be tried for double homicide/murder.

If so, america is even dumber than i thought.

I would define life as starting at when a foetus gains its own distinct heartbeat, ie 5-6 weeks after conception.

The first quote explains why the seemingly disconnect pointed out in the second quote exists in some cases. I do agree that the time frames ought to mesh. If abortions are legal at 35 weeks in a state then it shouldn't be a double murder.

Getting your period does not end a human life but it can signify that one has ended if you were pregnant. Menstruation happens because you are not pregnant. I would assume you know that much about biology. Periods don't end pregnancies. They signify you are not pregnant. Pregnancy begins with conception. From that point forward, all you need is to be given the time to grow up.

We have an arbitrary definition of life. It's a growth if the mother wants it removed. It's a life if she didn't want it removed. Interesting how someone elses desire changes the definition of life.

Laws should be consistent. It's either a human life or it isn't. As things are, the crime should be performing an abortion without a license.

Life begins at conception. Some people missed 8th grade biology.
