I frankly do not personally foresee a need for more than 10 rounds to stop a burglar or mugger. But this is a step in the stupid direction. What exactly is going to stop a future Adam Lanza from carrying 3 or 4 extra 10 round mags and switching as needed? If I thought it might do a whit of good to ban 11 around magazines, I wiould give it utmost consideration. But I don't.

Why not look at actual solutions such as a revamp of mental health regs, or allowing teachers to carry?

I am a 1911 guy my wapon is safe for the moment. I am amazed at how little effort law makers make to understand what they are talking about.

Because "understanding" defies the logic of "control." They don't have a need to understand the consequences of the laws they pass, they just have a need to pass laws underwritten by themselves.

Control, that's all it is.

Fineslime is a tired old biddy who can't think of anything else to do but wait until there's a high profile gun incident and crank up her same old garbage campaign against guns, while having one in her purse. Some think she's a commie, but she's not, she's an old money elitist who hates the idea of the peasants having what only she and her rich chums should be allowed to own, to put down the peasant revolt when it arises.

She's really very much like some frumpy 14th century bourgeois countess who is offended that any of the peasants under her heel can wear decent clothes, or aspire to anything but slavery for her. For them to own guns is the very pinnacle of insubordination and will not be tolerated. Guns are only for nobility like herself.

This legislation will never pass, regardless.
Even if this legislation did pass. like all lefty laws there is no way to enforce it.

The lefty's may as well ban the tide from changing..... Won't matter that they do..

Most lefty's are so far back up the Nile they will never really see day light.

Nothing but a large segment of society still living in Disneyland a pretend world because they can't handle the truth.

The average person doesn't know how an atom bomb works, I guess they should educate themselves before they pass such laws.

Do you know how crack cocaine, bath salts, or meth works on the brain, most people don't. Let's not pass any laws until we educate ourselves!!

You would willingly submit your fingerprints to the federal government for simply owning a handgun?

WOW.

"Why not look at actual solutions such as a revamp of mental health regs" EXACTLY, any person who has family or has had dealing with mentally ill individuals will tell you nightmare stories about this. Face it, the govt wants to disarm the citizens.

Even Pelosi packs, or at least she used too. I doubt this will get anywhere.
